In Graurheindorf, Bonn, a woman was assaulted on Werftstraße Saturday evening. Two masked men surprised her as she was getting into her car and stole a laptop bag containing a computer and cash. Around 8 p.m., a Olea Café employee had just closed the café and was about to enter her parked car when a masked man tried to grab the laptop bag she had placed in front of her. A struggle ensued between the woman and the masked man. Another masked man with a firearm then appeared and pointed the weapon at the woman, causing minor facial injuries as they managed to snatch the laptop bag, containing the laptop, cash, and documents, before fleeing towards Rheindorfer Bach. The police arrived to find the perpetrators had escaped, with initial search efforts proving fruitless.
The Bonn police are now appealing for witnesses who may have information on the suspects. The first suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old man, 180 to 185 centimeters tall, slim, dark-skinned, wearing a balaclava, a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and gloves. The second suspect, who wielded the firearm, is also 20 to 25 years old, 175 to 180 centimeters tall, dark-skinned, with a similar outfit and balaclava as the first suspect. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police at 0228 150. Furthermore, Olea Café issued a plea on their Instagram page for potential witnesses to come forward with any leads regarding the perpetrators.
