SENSATIONAL: Ehningen Shooting Guild celebrates 40 years of sport shooting!
An incredible shooting spectacle is about to begin! From July 17th to 19th, 2025, Ehningen will be transformed into the epic center of sport shooting when the traditional event of Schützenguilde Ehningen e.V. opens its doors. This fascinating event has been held annually since 1980, of course with the exception of the catastrophic Corona period that shocked us all! Under the leadership of the tireless women's leader Monika Goppel and her dedicated team, an adventure is on offer that should not be missed!
The event is called “Shooting for All” and invites the entire community to take part in this exciting competition. A highlight is shooting with small-caliber rifles from a distance of 50 meters, both sitting and lying down. But that's not all! The teams, consisting of a minimum of three and a maximum of five participants, compete against each other in a thrilling competition and show off their skills. The adrenaline level will skyrocket with exciting revolver shooting at 25 meters in the individual competition! It will be simply SENSATIONAL!
A celebration for young and old
The Rifle Guild is not only a place for competition, but also a melting pot of community and fun! A new chapter has been opened since 2011 with the exciting archery competition for participants aged 10 and over, which is organized by the experienced archery instructor Winfried Giereth. Report According to him, the young people not only manage to learn the basics, but they also develop an extraordinary feel for the bow. Participating in the community's summer vacation program could be considered the most exciting event this year anywhere in Germany! The hit rate was shockingly high as the coaches even hung balloons in the middle of the targets!
Preparations for next season are already in full swing, with a group of willing hands digging soil and painting wood from the new target stands - a display of dedication and team spirit that is overwhelming! After an exciting week of work in bright sunshine, all four stands were finally completed. A real miracle of the sports community!
