Altdorf celebrates: The first Fiirabig with live music and culinary highlights!
The municipality of Altdorf invites you to the first edition of the “Altdorfer Fiirabig” on Friday, June 13, 2025. The event is scheduled to take place on the Unterlehn from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and offers a variety of culinary delicacies as well as an attractive range of drinks. Among the providers are dining cars and the Arnold center market. The drinks are provided by the Stiär Biär microbrewery, Wyyparadiesli Planzer and the team from the Kellertheater im Vogelsang. The idea for this new event comes from the municipality's tourism commission, which wants to revitalize the center of Altdorf and create a popular meeting place for locals and guests. The event also receives support from local companies such as Neues Altdorf and Auto AG Uri.
The evening is also accompanied by live music. The first event will be accompanied musically by the duo Miriam and Sara Wipfli, who will set the mood with jazz standards and pop classics. When the weather is nice, visitors can enjoy new parasols and loungers. However, if the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will take place in the armory.
Follow-up appointments and support
The “Altdorfer Fiirabig” will not only take place on June 13, 2025. Further dates are already planned: The Ländlertrio Liibärämant will play on August 8th, 2025, followed by a concert on September 19th, 2025 with the band Monsieur Sousol. These regular events are intended to help increase footfall in the village center and support local businesses.
The event is organized in collaboration between the municipality of Altdorf and Uri Tourismus AG. The event format offers a platform for local artists and at the same time an opportunity to strengthen the community.
