Cyclists seriously injured: drama between Remseck and Waiblingen!
on Tuesday evening, July 2, 2025, there was a serious accident between Remseck and Waiblingen around 7 p.m. A 17-year-old cyclist wanted to cross the state road from a dirt road when he overlooked an approaching Mercedes. The 44-year-old driver could no longer prevent the collision. Due to the impact, the young person was thrown into the air and crashed into a traffic sign. Fortunately, the cyclist wore a protective helmet, but he suffered serious injuries and had to be hospitalized immediately.
The state road had to be completely closed for about half an hour to secure the scene of the accident and carry out the rescue measures. This incident not only affected the direct participants, but also ensured considerable traffic disruptions in the region.
