Denmark takes over the EU chair: challenges for budget and migration!

On Thursday, July 1, 2025, Denmark's Council Presidency of the European Union in Aarhus, the second largest city in the country. Denmark brings this new role to a key position, while important discussions about the long-term EU budget from 2028 to the end of 2034 are imminent. The positions of the Member States are very different, which could make negotiations more difficult.
