Annual General Meeting 2025: Gerlingen Ski Club shines with honors!

The annual general meeting of the Ski Club Gerlingen e. V. took place on May 23, 2025 in the clubhouse. The meeting was opened at 7:41 p.m. by the first board member Jan Schelling, who warmly welcomed the members. Special greetings went to the honorary chairman Erich Bea and the honorary members Roland Dieringer and Gerhard Rau. The board confirmed that the invitation was timely and confirmed that the meeting had a quorum. The agenda was approved unanimously.

As part of the meeting, the board reported on the association's 2024 year and the planned events for 2025. An overview of member movements and committee meetings gave those present additional insights into the association's activities. A special thank you went to the board and committee members as well as to all the trainers, cycling guides, hiking guides and the technical team.

Honors and reports

Various reports were available for viewing, including the departmental reports from the ski school, youth, the business team as well as the sports and house and technology teams. Ski school director Wolfgang Bea, together with Simone Gommel, provided information about the experiences of the 2024/2025 winter season and gave an outlook on the upcoming dates for the 2025/2026 season.

Silvia Sauter, who died, was remembered during a minute's silence. Honors were also given for long-standing memberships:

  • 50 Jahre: Hedwig Braune, Helmut Braune, Karl Grob, Rolf Höschele
  • 40 Jahre: Eva-Maria Herrmann, Tobias Herrmann, Wilfried Herrmann, Richard Koschany, Stefanie Pietsch, Susanne Schelling, Bernd Schirm
  • 25 Jahre: Elke Gommel, Andreas Herrmann, Brigitte Herrmann, Heike Nufer, Timo Röck, Andrea Trampe, Bettina Würtele
  • 15 Jahre: Jessica Greb, Melanie Pfefferle, Brigitte Siegle-Kurz

The 2025 club championships were also recognized:

  • Ski alpin weiblich: Lilith Bea
  • Ski alpin männlich: Jochen Weiß
  • Snowboard weiblich: Lotta Weiß
  • Snowboard männlich: Ben Weiß

Financial aspects and elections

The cashier Manuela Söder explained the financial report for 2024, which was approved by the auditors without any objections. The board and the main committee were unanimously discharged. In the following elections, Jörg Sickinger was again elected as second board member and Sabine Weik as secretary. Wolfgang Bea was elected as ski school director for another year, while auditors Steffen Rau and Karin Glaser were re-elected for two years. Unfortunately, the positions for women's representatives, press spokespersons and hiking supervisors remained vacant.

At the end of the meeting, the 2025 budget was unanimously approved. An application from Ursula Lutz to process and continue the club's chronicle was also discussed. The meeting concluded at 9:12 p.m.

In addition to the annual general meeting, the Gerlingen Ski Club announced a Father's Day celebration on May 29, 2025, which will be celebrated in the clubhouse from 11:00 a.m. White sausages, grilled dishes, baked Camembert and salads are available. Entertainment and activities are also provided, with offers such as DSV buses, a nail block and table football.

The club has an active sports community that has also planned events such as a skiing holiday in Kitzbühel. The journey to the Jugendhotel Noichl will take place from February 7th to 14th, 2025, followed by ski trips and a varied evening program. What is helpful for the community, as the club planner explains, is that clubs offer members scope for creativity and co-determination, which promotes enthusiasm for the organization and, thanks to the voluntary work of officials, also enables social bonds and shared successes within the community.
