Jörg Sändig: Mayoral candidate for Hattenhofen with fresh ideas!

In Hattenhofen, preparations for the upcoming local elections are taking shape. Jörg Sändig, the 57-year-old fire department commander, has announced his candidacy for mayor. After the withdrawal of Franz Robeller, who will no longer compete for reasons of age, Sändig sees the opportunity to actively shape the community. Mercury reports that Sändig has lived in Hattenhofen for 26 years, is a father of two and does voluntary work.

His commitment as commander of the fire department made him well-known in the community. He receives support from Elisabeth Trappmann, the deputy mayor, and Markus Kennerknecht, who acts as a confidant for the group of voters. These two personalities support Sändig and see him as the right man for the mayor's office.

Campaign strategies and priorities

Sändig plans to hold his nomination meeting on December 3rd at the Gasthof Eberl, an event at which all eligible voters can take part in the nomination. He names three central focuses of his campaign: the development of a local development plan for all citizens, improving communication within the community and strengthening local associations, which he sees as essential for social life.

In order to appeal to younger citizens, Sändig has already announced that it will increasingly use digital channels. The older community members are not left out either; A regular citizens' meeting is planned to take their concerns into account. In addition to the topics mentioned, Sändig is also thinking about the areas of economy, transport, education and family support in order to advance Hattenhofen holistically.

Village community and elections

The Hattenhofen village community (DG) acts independently and is not organized as an association. This promotes democratic participation because all eligible citizens are allowed to vote at the nomination meeting. Another notable detail is that Mittelstetten is the only municipality in the entire district without a mayoral candidate, which makes Sändig's position in Hattenhofen all the more important.

The upcoming elections are not only a test for Jörg Sändig, but also an indicator for the future development of the Hattenhofen community. Citizens are called upon to actively participate in developments in their homeland and to cast their vote for a transparent and committed local government.
