On May 26, 2025, SV Winterbach crowned the championship sequel in the district league with an impressive 6-1 against FSV Idar-Oberstein. This glorious end to a season in which SV Winterbach led the table from the first matchday onwards led to a big celebration ritual at their home ground, the Felsen. Coach Torben Scherer was overjoyed about winning the title and the upcoming celebrations, while president Michael Höft was emotional about the events as he looked for a quiet place to process his feelings after the final whistle. In pouring rain, around 300 spectators gathered to celebrate the historic title win. Maximilian Stumm gave Winterbach the lead again in the 37th minute, followed by a double strike from Elias Pfenning in the 42nd and 52nd minutes. Emilio Becker contributed two more goals in the 56th and 73rd minutes to the final score of 6:1.
