Next Sunday, June 29, 2025, the special exhibition “Welzheim – then and now” will open in the municipal museum in Welzheim. Some of the photos and postcards shown are over 100 years old and impressively reflect the development of Welzheim.

Particular highlights include a black and white photo from 1950 that shows children in a hot tub and symbolizes the desire for an outdoor pool. Historical events such as the arrival of the first train in Welzheim in 1911 and the electricity connection in 1914 are also discussed. A showcase in the exhibition also contains old model trains and consignment notes, which provide an insight into the living and trading conditions at the time.
