INCREDIBLE! On September 7th, 2025, the beautiful Homburg Castle in Nümbrecht will be the setting for one of the most exciting events of the year: the legendary Bergische Landschaftstag! In a breathtaking setting from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., over 50 exhibitors will present their knowledge about nature, regional culture and leisure activities. This event promises pure information and exchange - a MUST-SEE for all nature and culture enthusiasts!
Like that Rhenish advertising papers reported, farmers, regional marketers, conservationists, authorities and voluntary associations are involved! Who couldn't already look forward to the highly interesting input stands and unique offers?
A day full of highlights!
The event will be ceremoniously opened by Minister Oliver Krischer, the passionate advocate of the environment, nature conservation and transport in North Rhine-Westphalia, at 11.30 a.m. One highlight follows the next: The Bergische Landschaftstag is not just an event, it is the ONLY start to the spectacular “City Country River meets Bergische Hiking Weeks”! Over 200 knowledge-hungry hikers can look forward to an incredible series of events lasting a full 21 days from September 7th to 28th!

But that's not all! To ensure that everyone can take part, a sign language interpreter will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - a real sign of inclusion! And for anyone who wants to arrive by car, there is free parking available near the castle, while a free shuttle bus runs from Nümbrecht to the event site and back - the first departure will be at 10.40 a.m.!

An absolute must during the Bergisches Landschaftstag is the sensational special exhibition “ART STORIES” in Homburg Castle. Art is presented in its most dazzling facets and takes local creativity to a new level!
