A series of traffic accidents and incidents of vandalism are making headlines in the region around Aalen and Winnenden. The police report several incidents that concern friendlier citizens and road users. These events highlight the ongoing problem of traffic safety and crime in cities.

In Winnenden, a previously unknown perpetrator damaged a BMW that was parked in the P3 parking lot of the Rems Murr Clinic between Thursday, 6:10 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The damage to the windshield is around 500 euros. The Winnenden police station will receive information about this damage to property on 07195 6940.

Another incident occurred on Thursday around 5:10 p.m. in Urbach, where a 59-year-old Fiat driver ignored the right of way of a 63-year-old Mercedes driver. The Mercedes driver suffered minor injuries, while property damage is estimated at around 6,000 euros.

There was also an accident in Backnang on Thursday evening, around 9:40 p.m., in which an 84-year-old Citroen driver hit a parked sprinter and was injured. The material damage amounts to around 13,000 euros and the car had to be towed. Another incident in Backnang, around 7:45 p.m., involved an Audi driver who hit a Ford driver while reversing and then fled. The material damage here amounts to around 4,000 euros, and the person who caused it must expect criminal charges.

Vandalism and break-ins

In Kernen im Remstal, the rear window of a Toyota was smashed between Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, 5:00 a.m. This act took place on Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Strasse and was carried out with a stone. The Fellbach police are also asking for information on 0711 57720.

In Oppenweiler there was a break-in at a residential building in Wilhelmsheim between Monday and Tuesday. The perpetrators gained access through a window, but did not steal anything. Information about this incident can be made to the Murrhardt police station on 071925313.
