TSG Balingen U19 celebrates triumphant promotion to the top league!
In a brilliant game, the U19s of TSG Balingen secured the championship title in the association relay with an impressive 7-0 win against FV Löchgau. This brilliant performance now finally makes promotion to the top league clear, as schwaebische.de reports. With only two match days remaining, the U19s can no longer be caught.
The game got off to a furious start: after just 23 minutes, TSG Balingen was leading 4-0. The spectators saw a team that was on the pitch with high motivation and a remarkable attitude. Coach Mehmet Akbaba was consistently positive about the performance of his players, who increased the score to 5-0 before half-time. They then added two more goals in the second half, confirming their dominance this season.
Strong season and key to success
The U19 had a difficult start at the start of the season with three draws in the first games against Gmünd, Fellbach and Hollenbach. At the end of September the team was in tenth place in the table, but was able to catapult itself to the top of the table thanks to an impressive series of fifteen wins in a row. Only one defeat, a 2:4 against Heilbronn, and a cup defeat against VfB Stuttgart in the quarter-finals, remained a setback in an otherwise almost perfect season. TSG youth coordinator Florian Barth highlighted the strong team structure, the committed coaching team and the talented players with a good mentality as central elements of success.
For the coming season, the U19s will compete in the top league. Barth emphasizes the importance of this league for the transition to the active sector and expects the opponents to be of higher quality. He plans to add seven or eight players from the 2007 class to the squad and is also looking for external reinforcements as well as talent from the U17, which won the national championship with 20 wins from 20 games.
Positive news from the U15
While the U19s are brilliantly promoted to the top league, the U15s of TSG Balingen are also showing a strong performance. They won their important game 1-0 at FC Esslingen and thus secured relegation before the last matchday [schwarzwaelder-bote.de]. The decisive goal came in the 46th minute of the game, which now gives the U15 the opportunity to finally secure relegation in the last game against FC 03 Radolfzell.
Overall, the youth teams at TSG Balingen show impressive performances and thus offer a promising future for the club.
