European beech as a symbol: 50 years of friendship between Mundelsheim and La Motte-Servolex!

On June 2, 2025, Mundelsheim and La Motte-Servolex will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their town partnership. The celebrations, which gathered more than 100 guests, also included the mayors Boris Seitz from Mundelsheim and Luc Berthoud from La Motte-Servolex. The atmosphere was one of joy and connection. A central symbol of this long-standing friendship is a European beech tree, which was planted as part of the celebrations. European beeches are known for their robustness and can live for several hundred years if well cared for. This tree planting took place in Mundelsheim and underlines the deep connection between the two communities. Stuttgarter Nachrichten reports that the European beech is a tangible sign of the stability of the partnership.
