On Monday, June 2, 2025, a 47-year-old woman was the victim of a tragic act of violence in Ronneburg, in the Main-Kinzig district. She was found unconscious in an apartment on Wiesenweg in the Hüttengesäß district. Despite immediate rescue measures by first responders and an emergency doctor, her life could no longer be saved. The woman died in the ambulance in the afternoon before reaching the hospital, reports stern.de.
The police arrested a 45-year-old man on site who was in a personal relationship with the deceased. There were indications of foul play, which justified the suspicion against the man. He was brought in for questioning, after which extensive forensic measures were carried out to determine further details about the crime.
Investigation and autopsy
Prosecutor Lisa Urff requested an autopsy of the body, which should be carried out in Frankfurt. The case is already attracting a lot of attention, especially since there was recently a homicide in the neighboring community of Nidderau. Police officers are currently securing evidence at the crime scene and interviewing neighbors and other potential witnesses, as stated in op-online.de.
