Weipfadlas 2025: Enjoyment event with wine, specialties and music!
Next Sunday, July 2, 2025, the opening of the Weipfadlas in Dertingen will take place. This event starts at 12.30 p.m. on the Winzerhof Baumann and promises to be a pleasure for wine lovers and gourmets. Among those present will also be the wine princess Elisa, various innkeepers and Mayor Markus Herrera Torrez. Already on Saturday evening, the weekend was heralded with a festive evening in the Friedrich winegrower, where there was wine and music.
The Weipfad offers an approximately one kilometer long route that leads the participants through the wine landscape. Here you can taste numerous wines and enjoy regional specialties while getting an insight into the work of the winemakers. The event is accompanied by a diverse offer, which includes wine accompaniment, regionally inspired dishes and handmade ceramics. Musical entertainment ensures the right ambience.

The Hörner distillery is particularly important, which offers the opportunity for wine and whiskey tastings in the vaulted cellar of the Friedrich vine school. Friedrich opens its doors to visitors to present the vine finishing and make the basement and wine barn accessible. Wines are also tastable on site and the Landgasthof Waldeck offers a lunch table with delicious dishes.The Winzerhof Baumann has specialties such as "Weibröblesbriedle" and Turkish delicacies. Handmade ceramics are presented in the vaulted cellar of Ton & Natur, while the Oesterlein winery turns its hedge industry into a "Weipfadlas hedge", in which Schoppenwines and Franconian cuisine are waiting for visitors. Parking is available to the companies and the fairground, and green signs show the way to the various stations in urban area.

Another important aspect of the wine region is the crowning glory of the new wine princesses. Jacqueline Dyck-Laux from Klingenmünster and Susanna Singer from Edenkoben were crowned in the ceremonial ceremony in the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben for the wine princess of the southern Weinstrasse 2024/2025. This tradition was led by the reigning Palatinate wine princess Laura Götze. During their term, the new wine princesses will represent the region at numerous events organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate Foundation for Culture.
