Scandal in the Heilbronn district: maggots and stench from full biotons!
In the district of Heilbronn, a persistent garbage crisis causes resentment among the citizens. Many biotons in the affected municipalities of Ilsfeld, Brackenheim, Erlenbach and Obereisesheim have not been emptied for weeks. This not only leads to unbearable odor nuisance, but also to a maggot attack, which is additionally tightened by the high temperatures above 30 degrees. The responsible waste disposal company Prezero from Neckarsulm is criticized because disease -related personnel failures have affected the collection. Despite an announced improvement, the situation remains unchanged, and many citizens are frustrated by the intolerable conditions, which are reinforced by the storage of garbage bags in addition to full tons. Some biotons have not been emptied for up to six weeks. The residents who pay fees for waste disposal expect improvements and have already contacted waste management in the Heilbronn district to point out the full garbage situation.
The problems with the garbage disposal in the Heilbronn area make a lightly impact on the difficulties that also exist in other regions of Germany. The residents of the Zollernalb district recently learned that they do not have to expect garbage mountains on the front door next year. The local disposal company Bogenschütz from Grosselfingen has been awarded the contract for the district-wide collection of residual and organic waste, while Prezero, subsidiary of the Lidl Group and a nationally active Müllatsorger, did not award the contract. In a month -long bidding procedure, Bogenschütz prevailed against Prezero, despite the expansion of offers from the group.
dispute over forgotten millions
The award decision is not without controversy. A central point of dispute was a special agreement of around 1.45 million euros, which was temporarily “forgotten” by the district administration and the then district council. Although Prezero complained to the award decision, the company withdrew the immediate complaint with the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court. Now the decision on the second allocation is final and the district administration can place the order to Bogenschütz at the meeting of the Committee for the Environment and Technology. Initially announced as public, the agenda item for award was treated in a non -public session and the template was deleted from the homepage of the district office. The current state of affairs for the "forgotten" 1.45 million euros remains unclear, while an additional conversation with Prezero is being prepared.
Developments in Heilbronn and Zollernalb show the difficulties and challenges with which the waste organs in Germany are confronted. It remains to be seen how the situation in the affected counties will develop and when the citizens can finally expect a satisfactory solution for their garbage problems.
