Three days full of joy: Dzień Dziecka in the hospital in Bielsko-Biała!

The celebrations for International Children's Day in Pediatric Hospital in Bielsko-Biała spanned three days, during which numerous little patients were able to put a radiant smile on their faces. Due to investment work, no major event could be organized this year. Nevertheless, intensive work was done to give the children unforgettable moments.

On May 31, a representative of the Funkomitywa organization visited the children and brought gift packages from the Czanieckie Makarony company. A successful start to the festivities that the little ones immediately enjoyed.

An unforgettable children's day

The climax of the celebrations took place on June 1st, the actual Children's Day. Here they were Volunteers from Dr. Clown Foundation present, who entertained the children with jokes and tricks and also brought gifts. These animations are part of a program aimed at distracting children from the pain and discomfort of their condition.

The programs of Dr. Clown Foundation not only includes artistic elements, but also creative approaches such as laughter yoga and art therapy. The main purpose is to help children overcome their difficulties and strengthen their motivation for recovery.

Visit from athletes and local supporters

On June 2nd, the local football players of TS Podbeskidzie and the mascot Beskidek were in the spotlight. They presented the little patients with sweets and autographed photos of the players. The Bielski Starosta, Andrzej Płonka, also showed solidarity and handed over baskets full of goodies to the children. In addition, the public elementary school in Wolin was able to hand out colorful cards containing codes for listening to fairy tales for free.

Katarzyna Czauderna, the hospital's director, expressed gratitude for the generous support of various donors and emphasized the importance of standing by the children in such difficult times.

The animation programs are not designed to showcase the volunteers' skills but are intended to empower the children. The children's health is always checked and the activities are adapted to their needs and psychological state. The focus is on treating children's emotions respectfully, giving them time to familiarize themselves with their situation.

The activities were organized with the aim of not only bringing joy to the little patients, but also having a positive impact on their rehabilitation. The support of volunteers and institutions is invaluable to the children in hospitals and helps to accompany and promote their recovery.
