Stockelsdorfer Schützenfest: celebration, shooting and fun for everyone!
The shooting festival in Stockelsdorf is coming up and will be celebrated this year from June 27th to 29th, 2025 on the festival meadow on Dorfstrasse. Under the motto “Let’s celebrate together!” The preparations have almost been completed. This traditional festival attracts numerous visitors to the community every year.
The shooting ladies prepare delicious home-baked cakes and coffee in the marquee, while the ATSV bistro under Lars Breyer serves grilled dishes, fries and nuggets. For the little guests there are free bouncy castles on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, which provide fun and entertainment. The DRK Stockelsdorf local association will also be represented on the square.
Traditional competitions and musical entertainment
The highlights of the festival include the traditional shooting competitions. On Friday, the Volkskönig crossbow shooting begins at 11 a.m. The small-caliber rifle competition takes place on all three days: Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. and on Sunday after the parade. New this year are the instant prizes in the prize shoot, which promise additional excitement.
On Friday evening from 7 p.m. an after-work party with the motto 90s revival awaits the celebrants; entry is free. On Saturday, Joe Beyer will ensure a good atmosphere with musical entertainment in Low German from around 3 p.m. The party evening on Saturday starts at 7 p.m. with a proclamation of the new dignitaries at 8:30 p.m. - entry remains free.
Parade and thanksgiving
On Sunday at 2 p.m. the festive parade moves through Stockelsdorf, the route of which leads from Dorfstraße via Ahrensböker Straße to Hohlweg and on to the festival site. After the parade, DJ Guido Tellesch provides entertainment. We would like to thank the donors, members, the fire brigade and the police who support this big event for the successful implementation of the festival.
