Music Festival at the Mill: A day full of music and fun in Rheinhausen!

The 16th music festival of the BSW Musikcorps Hohenbudberg 1973 will take place on June 29, 2025 at the “Die Mühle” youth center in Duisburg-Rheinhausen. It starts at 11 a.m. and the event promises numerous musical highlights. Located directly opposite Rheinhausen train station, the mill is easy to reach for anyone interested. Sufficient parking is also provided; Visitors can park their vehicle at the train station or in the parking lot of the “Kruppsee” outdoor swimming pool.

The music festival expects numerous participants, including various music clubs and dance groups, who will present their arts. The physical well-being of the guests is also taken care of: cool drinks, cakes and grilled dishes are offered at reasonable prices. An extensive supporting program for young and old provides additional entertainment, while a DJ provides the background music.

Family friendly program

The offer for children is particularly family-friendly. In addition to traditional games, there is also a bouncy castle, which is sure to attract many little guests. An important goal of the music festival is also to recruit new members for the music corps. The corps particularly wants to appeal to music enthusiasts who want to master or learn an instrument.

In addition to the music festival, another highlight will be offered on October 15th: a community concert with the Hohenbudberg choir community. Under the motto “Eisenbahnsiedlung in Concert” the concert will take place in the auditorium of the Rheinhausen secondary school, Körnerplatz 2. The program includes brass music and choral singing, and both clubs also perform together.

Advance sales for tickets start today at two advance sales points: the “zum Siedlertreff” drinking hall in the Eisenbahnsiedlung and the Körner travel corner on Kronprinzenstrasse in Friemersheim. Alternatively, the tickets can also be ordered through club members. Further information is available on the concert poster.
