20 years of Park Hohenrode: anniversary picnic with recipe book and music!

The Park Hohenrode support association in Stuttgart is facing a special anniversary: ​​on June 21, 2025, it will celebrate its 20th birthday with a musical summer picnic. This event will not only be a feast for the senses, but also a tribute to the culinary creations of the last two decades.

As part of the anniversary, a recipe book containing the association's 50 best recipes will be presented. The delicacies collected cover a variety of categories, including pies, cakes, as well as alternatives such as baking without flour and cakes made without baking. Manuela Hebestreit, a committed member of the association, spent around two years compiling these recipes. She was supported by various park friends, including local businesses and banks.

A culinary highlight

The recipe book is limited to 500 copies and is available for 20 euros. Anyone interested can purchase the books in the city library and in the Hebestreit fashion store. It is also possible to place orders by email to fiedler.hebestreit16@gmail.com.

The summer picnic starts at 3 p.m. and, in addition to the recipe book, also offers delicious coffee and cake. Musical entertainment will be provided by the “Nat King Thomas mobile street band”, which will encourage guests to dance and swing with a varied program of swing, jazz, blues and boogaloo.

This festival is not only a celebration of the past two decades, but also an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community in Hohenrode Park and celebrate the love of gastronomy. During the event, various activities and stands will invite you to discover and enjoy the diversity of park friends.
