Dream trip of the Frohsinn company: From Eschenbach to Cannes!
The Frohsinn Eschenbach company recently undertook a four-year trip to the Italian Flower Riviera, organized by Erwin Dromann. 48 members set off on Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m. and reached the picturesque coastal village of Laigueglia, known for its beaches and Mediterranean climate, on Monday lunchtime. Here the participants were welcomed at the Hotel Villa Ida, where they had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings before enjoying a delicious Mediterranean dinner on Monday evening.
A visit to Monaco and Monte Carlo was on the agenda on Tuesday. In addition to the historic old town, the group visited the Prince's Palace and the famous casino complex. A special highlight of the day was the exhibition “Méditerranée 2050” in the Oceanographic Museum, which attracted numerous interested parties. Unfortunately, a planned boat trip to the islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat on Wednesday in Cannes was canceled. Instead, the participants took a boat trip on the catamaran “Titanic” and enjoyed the impressions of the city, which became world-famous especially through the film festival.
Cultural and culinary highlights
On Thursday the group traveled to San Remo, where they were able to experience the culinary delights at the “Antico Frantoio” olive mill in Isolabona. After a visit to the medieval village of Dolceaqua, known for its historic arched bridge painted by Claude Monet, the group was able to explore the Ligurian hinterland. On Friday the cities of Albenga and Alassio were finally on the agenda. The visits to the Miss Muretto beauties and the famous “Celebrity Wall” in Alassio were particularly impressive.
The return trip to Eschenbach took place on Saturday evening, arriving around 9:00 p.m. Another happy moment for the society was the acceptance of Maria Braun as the 610th member. Overall, the trip was perceived as a successful interplay of culture, nature and community activities.
The members are already looking forward to future activities: travel destinations are Bamberg and Maastricht, and a big family festival is on the program in July. According to mein-stuttgart.com, the participants experienced the beauties of the Blumenriviera intensively and remembered them as unforgettable. The events under the motto “Experience community” and the great commitment of Erwin Dromann and tour guide Germana left a lasting impression.
