Today Nürtingen shines in a top-class MEGA event! The incomparable6th Nürtinger Neckar Festivalhas opened its doors and the city is gripped by an indescribable scenario of joy and ecstasy! NTZ reports that more than just the sun shines over the festival grounds; Hundreds of visitors flock enthusiastically to the banks of the majestic Neckar, where an unforgettable celebration unfolds!
This grandiose event began onFriday evening, July 11, 2025, and the atmosphere couldn't be more electric! MayorJohannes Friedrichcatapulted the festival into a new dimension of festive joy with the legendary tapping of the barrel - but only after a clever speech that nobody dared bore.
Spectacular entertainment and culinary delights!
The Neckarfest is a real firework of entertainment! The streets are filled with around30 local clubs and groups, which cause a sensation with fantastic participatory activities and musical performances. Loud Teckbote will be more thanseven bands and two DJsEnthrall the masses with classics from rock, pop, soul and even hits on four sensational stages!
On Friday there was already a foretaste of ecstasy with the Esslingen Dirty Saints and the Swing Bohème Orchestra. Tomorrow the festival will conclude with the acclaimed sounds of Sonic Love and BangBags, and no visitor can escape this musical onslaught!
But it's not just the music that's a highlight - the culinary THRILLERS are an absolute MUST-SEE! FromThuringian bratwurstsup toFalafel, smashed burgers and souvlaki, the visitors' palates will be enchanted! You can smell the tempting scent of waffles, roasted almonds and even cocktails and slush wine in the air!
Pure action for the whole family
For the adventurers there is a breathtaking range of hands-on activities! From diving, kayaking to the bungee trampoline to the ninja course - the possibilities are almost endless! Families can relaxaround 20 exciting activitieswhich will take place on Saturday between 4 and 8 p.m.!
But that's not all! TheNürTiger presentationsat 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. guarantee more thrills! And for all those who have to worry about payment options - the new tokens will be the salvation here!
But the festival doesn't just have to offer entertainment and culinary delights. A new, central toilet area, including one“Toilet for everyone”for people with disabilities, is now ready to give all visitors a big celebration!
