A tragic traffic accident in Kronberg claimed the life of a one-year-old child on Friday afternoon, July 5, 2025. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Westerbachstrasse when two cars were standing one behind the other at a red light. As soon as the light turned green, the driver of the front vehicle drove off, while the driver of the second car accelerated sharply, overtook the other vehicle, hit it and finally crashed into a wall. The one-year-old child was seriously injured in the collision and succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Saturday night after the accident. Two adults, a 34-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man, who were in the second vehicle were also seriously injured in the accident.
