Motorcycle service in Maxhütte: 600 euros collected for good causes!
On April 27, 2025, a special motorcycle service took place on the Schlossplatz in Leonberg. Over 60 motorcyclists took part in this event, which was combined with an impressive tour through the Schwaighauser Forest into the lower Naab Valley. The route led past, among other things, the Kallmünz castle ruins and offered beautiful views of the surrounding nature. After the approximately 40-kilometer journey, the motorcycles were parked at the community center to hold a festive service there. The celebration was accompanied by music from Micha and his band.
The collection from the service, which was collected as part of the event, yielded a sum of600 euros, which was donated to the Sternstunden organization. This support is part of a long-term partnership with IGZ Ingenieurgesellschaft Falkenberg, which enables such events to be held.
Getting together together
After the service, the participants were invited to meet in the garden of the community center. There was Leberkäs as well as a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and cake. This sociable atmosphere encouraged exchanges about motorcycle tours and a shared passion for biking.
It was particularly interesting to look back at other events in the region. For example, the motorcycle service in Hemau, which took place after a forced break due to Corona, attracted around 250 visitors. Over 120 motorcycles were gathered there, and the collection of 600 euros was donated to the zweisLEBEN e.V. association, which supports motorcyclists who have had accidents. This initiative highlights the important role such services play in the community and in supporting social projects.
Dates for motorcycle enthusiasts
In addition to the events in Leonberg and Hemau, another motorcycle service is scheduled for May 4, 2025 in the Protestant Peace Church. Other planned highlights for the motorcycle community include the church services in Stublang and at Feuerstein Castle.

The motorcycle service in Leonberg inspired and encouraged many of those present to continue to take part in such community activities in the future. The MOGO team and the Protestant community were praised for their commitment and organization, and the participants are already looking forward to the next trips and church services together.
