It was a sunny day in Altdorf when the incredible barbecue took place in the Höfli nursing home group - and the entire community was upside down! This annual event is not just a simple celebration, but a true **SPECTACLE** that touches the hearts of people with dementia and their families. The preparations were nothing short of monumental! Relatives and residents left the unforgettable evening with beaming faces and gratitude in their hearts. A true celebration of joy of life!
The fantastic organizers Lucia Jauch and Andrea Bissig did an incredible job to give the residents with dementia an unforgettable experience. Motivated to foster seniors' individual resources, they transformed the barbecue into a celebration of community spirit, caring and life-affirming memories. Pia Steiner, the inspiring managing director, emphasized the incomparable importance of the joint events - and with complete conviction!
A celebration of the senses and emotions
The atmosphere of the barbecue sent the participants on an emotional journey: the terrace was beautifully decorated, anticipation hovered over the guests like magic and the air was permeated with the delicious smell of barbecue that made everyone's mouths water! When you heard the laughter and happy conversations of those present, you knew that great moments of gratitude and connection were being created here.
The incredible energy of the activation team brought the barbecue to life! Traudl and Lisa found themselves on their way to the city festival, excited by the idea of having fun at the grill and enjoying delicious dishes. The festival in the city park was a culinary explosion - with bratwursts, steaks, fresh salads and irresistible vegetables that made everyone's mouth water!
The tension rose as the ladies vied for drinks with refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails, juice or even wine and beer! A sight fit for the gods as Lisa finally returned triumphantly with three glasses of beer while her friends stretched and waited for the fun. The festival was the epitome of enjoyment and joie de vivre and set standards for all future barbecue events!
