A catastrophic Sunday for FC Neustadt! The team, which was hoping for a motivated season, was defeated in a dramatic home game against Spvgg. F.A.L. brutally disenchanted. Coach Tobias Gutscher had lined up his players full of enthusiasm, but the dream of a strong start ended in a disastrous 4-1 defeat! The first goal came like a bolt from the blue in the second minute: Luca Crupi of the visiting team hit the top left corner with a brilliant shot. A goalkeeper Joshua Dengler, who appeared lethargic at this crucial moment, was unable to save the ball, laying the foundation for an overall miserable match for Neustadt that would only get worse. The guests then took a brutal lead in the 50th and 70th minutes with further goals from Craft and Tuncer.
