Association Forever starts looking for roommates for inclusion!
The association "Für Persichens" has founded itself from an urgent need: Parents of disabled children are looking for alternative forms of living to ensure that their sons and daughters will continue to be well promoted and cared for in the future. The association, which was launched a year ago, pursues the goal of establishing, including shared apartments. Enable this by developing creative solutions and promoting the exchange with each other. Katharina Voß and Sabine Venrath, the two initiators of the association, point out that many parents are not sufficiently aware of the challenges associated with the living situation of their children. Events such as the summer festival serve not only for networking, but also to sensitize the concerns of people with disabilities.
The idea behind these inclusive shared apartments is to create habitats that enable future residents to participate equally in social and social life. As reports Aktion Mensch, including quarters are planned in such a way that various factors such as age, social or cultural origin, as well as physical and intellectual constitution are taken into account. This is intended to integrate surprisingly many different life forms and needs.
goals and demands on including forms of living
The development of inclusive quarters increases, whereby municipalities often work in cooperation with various associations and organizations. A central aspect of planning is the participation of future residents to ensure that their needs are incorporated into the projects. In addition, a gain in barrier -free apartments within these communities is important to ensure all -encompassing accessibility.
The public spaces, streets and places should be largely barrier-free, as is also emphasized by [Aktion Mensch] (https://www.aktion-mensch.de/ Inclusion/wohnen/wohnformen-fuer-menschen-mit-zfleitungen/ Inclusive-wgs). These considerations are not only beneficial for people with disabilities, but also create an environment in which all residents can live together equally. Including quarters are mostly in large cities and thus potentially offer a stable and versatile community.
The vision of "for each other" travels beyond the individual living needs - it focuses on the need for participation and an active social life. The community grows through the mutual exchange of members and the awareness of inclusive forms of life is strengthened.
