On October 11, 2025, DJ Andy, real name Andreas Dressler, will celebrate a remarkable anniversary: 25 years at the Schwanen cultural center in Waiblingen. This celebration will begin at 9pm and promises to be an unforgettable event, featuring an impressive light show, a smoke machine and over 400 hand-picked tracks. The anticipation is great because DJ Andy is an integral part of the local music scene.
The Lüneburg native started his DJ career in 1987 in an oldies bar called Pupasch. He then played at the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg before returning to the Rems-Murr circle. There he performed in various discos, including the Belinda discotheque in Sulzbach and the Manufaktur in Schorndorf. His first appearances at Schwanen began 25 years ago at the Luna Bar, which was later renamed Fidels Fritz. Since then, DJ Andy has been present at the Kulturhaus every one or two months and regularly attracts numerous guests.
Schwanen Cultural Center: A place of diversity
The Schwanen Cultural Center is much more than just an event location. It is a center for culture, education and leisure that offers regional and international cultural offerings. The Schwanen's history dates back to the 18th century, when it was used as an inn. In the 2000s, the cultural center was extensively renovated and today offers various rooms as well as a professional gastronomic offering.

DJ Andy has not only had an impressive career, but has also had to face personal challenges. Five years ago he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and a stroke, from which he has largely recovered. This not only demonstrates his determination, but also his passion for music, which still drives him today.

DJ Andy will shake up the dance floor with his mix of rock hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, while his loyal fans celebrate that their favorite DJ has been keeping the mood in the Schwanen for 25 years.
