In the Ostalbkreis, the coming days will be dominated by leisure activities and cultural events. From May 30th to June 1st, 2025, visitors can expect numerous attractions that offer something for all ages.

The weekend begins on Friday with a highlight: the concert by “Seiler and Speer” will take place as part of the 100th anniversary of the Bargau Music Association. The band is playing their new album and promises to shake up the festival meadow next to the Fein Hall in Bargau from 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this event are available online or by phone from Walter Nagel (07173/5584). At the same time, the 25th Gmünder Jewelry Days will take place in the preacher's ballroom, starting at 5:30 p.m. Various exhibitors present jewelry here, including master goldsmith Tamara Brötzler, who is represented with her creatively designed jewelry pieces, such as the “Move” rings and the “Fantasy” collection. Anyone who would like to visit the exhibition also has the opportunity to do so on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is accompanied by the Bernhard Ellwanger winery from Weinstadt, which offers sparkling wine and wine.

Saturday offers a wide range of activities. The 17th festival of the Friends of Historical Driving Culture Staufen Ostalb e.V. is taking place on the TÜV site in Böbingen. Family friendly Sunday

Sunday starts in the Jägerfeld culture and sports center with the oven festival at the Ruppertshofen music club. From 10:30 a.m., guests will be treated to salt cake and brass music. In addition, the second day of the fire brigade hock takes place, which begins at 10 a.m. with a hearty morning pint. For those interested, there is also a blooming city tour, which begins at 2:30 p.m. in Remspark and provides insights into the historical buildings of Schwäbisch Gmünd.
