FCH women's team strengthens: Six new additions for the new season!
The FC Heidenheim women's team is strengthening for the coming 2025/26 season with a significant increase in talented players. A total of six external newcomers have been announced, which will significantly expand the team's squad. As fc-heidenheim.de reports, these are players who will provide a breath of fresh air both on offense and defense.
The new signings include Ella Blücher (17 years), Laura Bozenhardt (22 years), Svea Fleischmann (20 years), Chiara Marziniak (19 years), Mia Vetter (17 years) and Lena Hönig (17 years). Blücher is moving from TSV Schwaben Augsburg to the attacking midfield, while Fleischmann and Bozenhardt are coming from VfB Stuttgart - Fleischmann will strengthen the central midfield and Bozenhardt will take on the role of goalkeeper. Marziniak also expands the central midfield, and Vetter and Hönig bring their skills to the defensive and middle front after joining the team from FC Donzdorf and FV Biberach.
Successful 2024/25 season
The FCH women's team achieved considerable success last season. She finished the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in second place with a total of 55 points. They scored 59 goals and only conceded 19 goals, which ensured they had the best defense in the league. With just one defeat, they made an impressive showing in the league. Nevertheless, the Heidenheim women have to announce three departures: Hanna Michalsky, Sina Mahler and Sofia Mayer are leaving the club.
The jump into next season will represent both a challenge and an opportunity for further development for the FCH women. The integration of the new players could be crucial for the desired promotion to higher leagues. In particular, the goal of repeating or even surpassing last season's successful season is now the focus of preparations and the upcoming games.
