Street music festival in Ludwigsburg: 14,000 celebrate despite the rain!

The 2025 international street music festival in Ludwigsburg attracted more than 14,000 visitors despite the uncomfortable weather. Over three days, guests crowded into the picturesque Blooming Baroque, where eleven stages were played on the extensive grounds. The program presented around 40 acts from different countries in an unplugged and live format, which made the festival atmosphere a special experience. Visitors had the opportunity to choose their favorite musicians and help shape the festival by voting. The winners of the audience vote performed on the main stage for the finale and were recognized for their performances.

The winner of the audience award was the band Kemadito Sound, who were rewarded with 1,500 euros for their unique combination of cumbia, ska, reggae and rap. Yuni Douglas, who impressed with her Caribbean joie de vivre and Cuban classics, took second place and received 1,000 euros. The band Fat Cheeks from Gimbsheim, who came up with a new interpretation of pop music, came third and received 500 euros. The Paper Moon Sing Combo from Stuttgart and Ricky Vicente from the Stuttgart region rounded off the list of successes and each received 250 euros for their performances.

Colorful variety of music

Beranger, last year's winner of the audience favor, attracted many spectators with a well-attended performance in the tent at the Fairy Tale Garden, who stood in long queues to hear him. The singer Franziska Kleinert from Besigheim was also able to impress with songs from her album “Storybook”, while the band “Drecksglomb” from Bönnigheim brought Swabian rock to the event. Baritone Günther Stalarz and Isabel Schumann were also street musicians and enjoyed great popularity.

The rhythmic and fast music, which encouraged the audience to dance, was particularly well received. Acts such as D’Takito Jam from Uruguay and Cacao Munch as well as Kemadito Sound from Argentina were some of the highlights that thrilled the audience. This diversity and the warm atmosphere made the festival an unforgettable event.

Despite the adverse weather, the organizers and participants received a positive response. The mix of well-known street musicians and new discoveries offered guests musical surprises and intense experiences. The street music festival in Ludwigsburg became a celebration of music for everyone involved that will be remembered for a long time.
