On June 15, 2025, SV Iptingen shone with an impressive 6-0 win over VfR Sersheim in the first relegation game for promotion to the A3 Enz-Murr district league. Coach Stephan Güttler was surprised by the clarity of the result and thus demonstrated a strong performance by his team. In bright summer weather and around 120 spectators, Sersheim initially started the game promisingly, but lost control after the early goal.

In the seventh minute of the game, Alexander Gauggel scored the first goal for Iptingen, which paved the way for a clear victory. The team was dominant in several moves and hardly allowed the opponent to calm down.
