The Remstal winery, a major player in wine production, has stabilized again after several crises in recent years. There is currently an optimistic mood within the cooperative, which has been operating in the Remstal for over 80 years. In Bechersbach, the board team, consisting of Martin Kurrle, Thomas Wahler and Friedhelm Illg, tastes the 2024 vintage of Zweigelt, which is valued for its “beautiful, dark blackberry color,” as Kurrle emphasizes. The Remstal Winery is proud to vinify wines from grapes that are produced with great craftsmanship and knowledge in Florida. The gentle processing and maturation in the largest wooden barrel cellar in Württemberg also ensure the high quality of the wines. The company was also awarded the “Weinsüden Winzer:in” seal, which is another sign of the cooperative’s excellent work ZVW.
The Remstal winery, with its wine shop in Weinstadt-Beutelsbach, would like to offer visitors insights into their work and the regional terroir. Various wine lines such as the Reserve, Edition R, grape variety lines as well as semi-sparkling wines and sparkling wines are offered there, all of which impress with flavors typical of the variety .
