James “Murr” Murray, known from the showImpractical Jokers, is preparing for a major charity event dedicated to the memory of his recently deceased father. The father suffered from Alzheimer's, and the loss affected Murr deeply. In his candid speech about the challenges his family experienced as a result of the illness, he highlighted the enormous burden that was placed on his mother in particular as a caregiver. These challenges may also have contributed to their own health.
Murr and his wife Melyssa are hosting the 4th annual No. 1 on October 25th. 95 Charity Event & Party in Montclair, NJ. This event will take place from 7pm to 10pm at 18 Label Studios and promises an entertaining program of live music, delicious food and drinks as well as auctions and raffles. All proceeds go directly to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research donated to support urgently needed research.
