The city of Ludwigsburg is once again recording a record number of marriages. In 2025, a total of 653 couples tied the knot in this charming city, as ludwigsburg.de reported. Among the newly married couples was Lea and René Henßler, who celebrated their wedding in the wedding room of the registry office on December 20, 2025, making them the 650th couple in Ludwigsburg.

Ludwigsburg is known for romantic wedding locations, such as Ludwigsburg Castle, Favorite Castle and Monrepos Castle. These include the play pavilion and the Guards Hall in the Residenzschloss, the Favorite Palace, the Lake Palace and the barrique barrel cellar on Monrepos, the Mathilden Garden, the Orangery in the Blooming Baroque, as well as the wedding room in the registry office and the meeting room in the town hall. In addition to the classic wedding ceremonies, special formats are offered that make wedding planning more varied.
