SENSATION: S3L celebrates triumphant test match victory - all eyes on the return!

Unimagined excitement and exhausting anticipation are gripping the handball world! The Leutershausen, Großsachsen, Hohensachsen and Lützelsachsen (S3L) syndicate returns to the South season of the 3rd Handball League and brings with it an atmosphere that couldn't be more electrifying! Uli Roth, a handball luminary, cannot contain his enthusiasm: “It’s simply great to be able to compete again against familiar teams and in exciting derbies!” The fans are ready to turn the night into day!

But that's not all! Mark Wetzel, the sporting director, describes the South relay as an arena of superlatives - attractive, but at the same time with stands full of challenges! "The teams are strong, they are dangerous to score! It will be a real battle!" Is your heart racing already?

Incredible encounters are ahead!

Coach Florian Taafel already has a list of catastrophic encounters in mind: the local derby against HG Oftersheim/Schwetzingen, the duel against SG Pforzheim-Eutingen and the encounter with the terrible Salamanders from Kornwestheim! These encounters promise pure excitement and increase anticipation!

The regular season could start on August 23rd with an away game against Bittenfeld, followed by the first home game on August 30th against Pforzheim! But Wetzel hopes that the start of the season can be postponed by two match days, as the first games fall during the summer holidays! The fans and players are holding their breath as they wait for clarity on the dates!

Sensational new signings and an injury-plagued reality!

The squad for the 2025/26 season has already been set! With 17 players full of potential, including names like Leon Keller, Tobias Schetters and Fabian Schwarzer! But be careful – the mood could change! Two players, Tim Götz and Nikola Sorda, are suffering from long-term injuries. Is this the price of fame?

The first test match victory that could go down in history was celebrated with an overwhelming 46:38 against Haßloch! A real shock for the opponents! And the next test match is already just around the corner: On July 11th at 7 p.m. in the Heinrich-Beck Halle, the S3L will play against HCN Neuenburg! And best of all: entry is FREE!
