Art for everyone: Ditzinger Kulturkreis gets going with K-und-K 2.0”!

In an exciting new direction, the Ditzingen culture and art district has given itself the name “K-und-K 2.0”. This step is intended to promote the revival of the association, which has brought together those active in the field of art and culture since it was founded on April 6, 1984. The club currently has 150 members, which is a decrease compared to previous times. Therefore, the goal of Katrin Groshaupt, the new chairwoman of the association, is to initiate smaller actions and use the city's support.

In order to make art tangible for everyone, the culture and art group is planning activities at well-known locations in Ditzingen. Traditionally, such events took place at the entrance to Ditzingen and in the old locomotive shed at the train station. In the future, the marketplace and other public places will also be included in order to reach a broader target group.

New exhibition and artists

A central aspect of the realignment is the upcoming opening of the new exhibition “Rabbit, Robots & Discounts”, which begins on Friday and will be on view until August 10th. This show presents Valo Valentino, a German-Mexican artist. This exhibition offers art lovers the opportunity to engage with innovative and diverse works.

In addition to the regular exhibitions that take place in the Städtische Galerie Ditzingen and usually last 4-5 weeks, the association focuses on highlighting regional artists. Cooperations with kindergartens, schools and the city library are also planned in order to strengthen art education and cultural promotion locally.

Commitment to the community

The activities of the Ditzingen Culture and Art Circle pursue the overarching goal of promoting culture and art in the region and creating low-threshold access. It is clear that Groshaupt and her team want to lead the club dynamically into the future, while at the same time paying attention to the roots and tradition of the club. As stuttgarter-nachrichten.de reports, all actions are designed to further develop Ditzingen as a lively cultural place and to give art a new place in society to give.

With this realignment, the Ditzingen Culture and Art District stands out not only as a venue for art, but also as a place for creative exchange and community. The association therefore remains a valuable entity in the region's cultural scene, with the firm promise of making art and creativity accessible to everyone.
