A look at the results of the pilot phase, which was carried out in 2024 under the supervision of the Baden-Württemberg Rural Cabinet Committee, revives belief in change. The pilot phase has shown that interprofessional teams and digital tools, such as video consultations and AI-based telephone assistants, are the keys to MODERN, FUTURE-ORIENTED patient care.

The details are as fascinating as they are alarming: From October 2025, the HÄPPI concept will be included in the HZV contract with the AOK Baden-Württemberg transferred. The HÄPPI project aims to reduce under-, incorrect and over-care and to ensure HIGH-QUALITY family medical care close to home. AOK Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland is the only health insurance company supporting the project and emphasizes the increasing need for medical care in our rapidly aging society. A TEST PHASE with highly committed general practitioner practices is planned here.
