Aggressive 18-year-old in Aalen attacks helpers – police intervene!
On June 3, 2025, there were several incidents in the region around Aalen and Ellwangen that required police attention. An outstanding event occurred in Abtsgmünd, where a 22-year-old man noticed an 18-year-old who urgently needed medical attention. When the younger man actively sought support, the 18-year-old reacted aggressively and attacked him. The 22-year-old was able to retreat during the attack and alert the police. When officers arrived, the aggressor continued to exhibit threatening behavior and was eventually taken into custody. He reportedly insulted police officers and spat at them, further escalating the situation. According to news.de, this was one of the significant incidents of these days.
In Aalen itself there has been a case of hit and run in the last few days. A previously unknown driver damaged a Hyundai on Schopenhauerstrasse between Friday 8 a.m. and Monday 7:30 p.m. The driver left without reporting the incident, causing damage of around 1,000 euros. More incidents in the region
Another offense involved the theft of a wallet from a parked car on Windwiesenweg in Aalen/Dewangen. In another incident, a 42-year-old drove her vehicle into the right of way of a 61-year-old at 4 p.m. on Monday, causing damage of around 4,000 euros.
Ellwangen was also the scene of various crimes. On Monday evening, residents reported paint daubs on the church on Friedhofstrasse. In addition, an e-bike was stolen from the train station between Friday and Sunday, for which the police are also looking for witnesses. A similar incident occurred in Rainau-Dalkingen, where cash was stolen from a locked vehicle between Saturday evening and Monday lunchtime.
Last but not least, an act of vandalism in Ellenberg caused a stir. Between May 26 and June 2, unknown persons vandalized a building with graffiti and attempted to break in.
