DB InfraGO has announced that it will carry out extensive infrastructure work between Bad Friedrichshall and Neckarsulm next June. These measures will extend over a period of approximately two weeks, starting on Friday, June 6th at 11 p.m. and ending on Saturday, June 21st at 11 p.m. During this time, one track on the affected section will be closed, which will have a significant impact on traffic flow. Passengers using lines S41 and S42 can use alternative regional trains on lines MEX18, RE10b and RE8, which continue to run between Neckarsulm and Bad Friedrichshall. The timetables will be adjusted accordingly so that the light rail lines S41 and S42 end in Bad Friedrichshall (from Mosbach/Sinsheim Hbf/Bad Rappenau) and in Neckarsulm (from Öhringen-Cappel/Heilbronn).
Establishment of a rail replacement service
