Experience the SENSATION of the year! Heilbronn, the city of bookworms, is becoming the epicenter of literature – for the THIRD TIME! An overwhelming spectacle that makes literary hearts beat faster takes place fromJuly 17th to 20thtook place on the Heilbronn market square. Yes, you heard that right! From more than 300 nominated cities, Heilbronn managed to stand out in this impressive list and win the crown of the reading cities! Unbelievable but true – Heilbronn is the reading capital!
Imagine: the market square transformed into a heavenly public living room full of books and endless literary delights! Free offers such as browsing and reading aloud invite you to linger and make the hearts of literature lovers beat faster! The furnishings couldn't be more inviting: bean bags, lounge furniture, hammocks and summer parasols are waiting to take you into the world of books.
THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FESTIVAL
And now comes the BEST: The debut novel will be a very special highlight"Hawaii"by the in-house author Cihan Acar! On the opening day, July 17th, the beaming Heike Denscheilmann, head of the cultural department, will take the stage at 6 p.m. and ceremoniously open the festival. And just 15 minutes later - at 6:15 p.m. - Cihan Acar immerses himself in the captivating world of his novel!
OnJuly 18ththe festival will be even more overwhelming! An integration reading day awaits visitors: Experience a Turkish reading from 2 p.m., followed by a stunning bilingual reading in French and German from 3:30 p.m. Imagine this cultural explosion that will immerse the city in colorful diversity!

TheJuly 19this celebrated as a family and literary Saturday! Let yourself be carried away by an interactive reading with the fantastic Stephan Bach at 11:30 a.m. and then enjoy the reading by Joachim Zelter at 4 p.m. And the crowning finale – thatJuly 20th: Experience a magical participatory story by Stephan Bach at 11:45 a.m. before the talented Anna Mendel takes the stage at 2 p.m.!
Another sensational detail: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the readings will continue under the arcades at the town hall. This is true flexibility! Anyone who still thinks that a simple reading festival is nothing special is seriously mistaken. The RNZ reports that a total of 3,000 books from all genres are available - that's pure CULTURE!
