Speeding scene in Heilbronn: New center causes chaos at the future park!

Heilbronn has experienced a remarkable change in the scene of speeders and car posers in the last few months. After years of meeting at various locations in the city, the group has now settled in the parking lot in the “Wohlgelegen” future park. Loud SWR An initially relaxed atmosphere arose here, characterized by music and smiling faces. But this idyll quickly becomes a problem when vehicles rush through the parking lot at high speed, which not only disrupts the peaceful atmosphere but also brings with it the risk of accidents.

Another problem is the trash left behind, ranging from fast food wrappers to cigarette butts. The police have therefore decided to carry out increased controls to counteract the phenomenon of autoposing. Especially after the scene was relocated from the previous meeting points, such as the old BUGA “Neckarbogen” site, the police intensified surveillance at critical locations.

Police measures and controls

On July 17, 2025, the police carried out a targeted check in the area around the new location between 6 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Loud Echo24 38 vehicles were checked, 30 of which were identified as part of the poser scene. The results were worrying: a total of 13 administrative offenses were registered, which included, among other things, cell phone and seat belt violations as well as disregarding red lights. Two drivers in particular had to answer for unnecessary noise pollution.

An outstanding example of the dangers posed by this scene was a 22-year-old who was speeding at 81 km/h when the speed limit was 40 km/h. In addition, two vehicles were confiscated because their operating license had expired. As part of the measures, the Heilbronn police headquarters have announced that further checks will follow.

Future controls and citizen engagement

In response to growing concerns among residents and the general public, police plan to more consistently hold people accountable for speeding, using illegally modified vehicles or driving vehicles that are too loud. Possible consequences for these posers can include expulsions, reports to the driving license authority and even the confiscation of vehicles in serious cases.

Citizens also have the opportunity to support the police by reporting speeding hotspots directly to the town hall. With the next speed camera marathon, which will take place from August 4th to 10th, 2025, the police would like to set another example against speeding and increase traffic safety in Heilbronn.

The current situation illustrates how important it is to react to the increasing dangers of the speeding and poser scene and to ensure greater safety with targeted measures.
