SENSATIONAL district festival: Klein-Auheim celebrates with music and joy!

A heavenly spectacle full of emotions and enjoyment literally transformed Klein-Auheim into a paradise on Saturday, July 5th! The district festival under the dazzling motto “Dahaam in Klanaam!” wasn't just any event; it was a GREAT event that exceeded ALL expectations! More than 30 clubs, businesses, musicians and groups have come together to celebrate the heart of the community and create an unforgettable experience that will resonate in the minds of residents for a long time!

The most powerful opening of the festival took place with an ecumenical service at 11 a.m. - a spiritual moment full of meaning, which was beautifully designed by Pastor Anna Jung and community leader Karola Emge-Kratz. Supported by the church band “Sang und Klang”, the festival opened with moving music, which immediately created a unique atmosphere! The head of the city council, Beate Funck, and mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri didn't miss this spectacular start - they were among the first visitors to the festival, which finally officially opened with a magnificent performance by the Hanau City Band!

A program for the senses!

The program was a real firework of entertainment! With dance performances, live music from local heroes like Project 3, Franksen & The Peacemakers and the Ukulele Stammtisch Hanau, the atmosphere was electric! And the children? They were the real stars of the day! The St. Josef daycare center put an enchanting play on stage that captivated the audience. In addition to the stage program, there were a variety of exhibitions and information along Schulstrasse and Rathausstrasse that aroused the interest and enthusiasm of visitors.

No expense was spared for the little festival visitors! A fantastic bouncy castle at the Friedrich-Ebert-Schule support association and a wheel of fortune made children's eyes shine and laughter echoed through the streets of the small town.

Culinary temptations and heartfelt projects!

But that's not all, the cuisine was a revelation! The festival offered an irresistible international buffet - grilled classics, juicy burgers, Spanish and Turkish specialties, delicious cakes, crepes and refreshing ice cream! Every bite was a treat that made you want to feast. In addition, a remarkable fundraising campaign of 500 euros for humanitarian aid in Ukraine was launched by the Hanau Reservist Association - a sign of solidarity that met with great interest among those present.

The neighborhood initiative invited guests to coffee and cake and created a homely atmosphere with the band HitMix in the afternoon. The “Hecker-Wirtschaft” also presented itself solemnly and gave the festival a relaxed garden atmosphere that invited people to linger.

A huge THANK YOU goes to the Vereinsring Klein-Auheim for the outstanding organization of this fantastic festival! Without the participation of everyone involved and visitors, this festival would not have been what it was - a breathtaking sign of community! The prospect of the 12th Klanaam district festival is already making the hearts of Klein-Auheimers beat faster!
