On June 1, 2025, a series of events will begin on the cultural steamer MS Stadt Kiel that is expected to attract both locals and tourists. On three Sundays, namely June 1st, 8th and 15th, guests can expect a varied program that begins at 3 p.m. The departure takes place at the Seegartenbrücke in Kiel. According to lebensart-sh.de, the highlights of the events are a lively revue by the young ensemble of the drama school, a culture heads quiz, a historical picture puzzle and a raffle with attractive prizes.
Food is offered in the form of coffee and cake at moderate prices. Participation in these daily events costs 15 euros per person, reduced 10 euros. A traditional ship with history
The MS Stadt Kiel is not only an event location, but also a traditional and museum ship with over 90 years of history. In 1994, the ship was recognized as a technical cultural monument and included in the list of monuments of the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
