Clubs bring a breath of fresh air: Students explore opportunities in Eschenbach!

On the last day of school before the holidays, over 300 students gathered in Eschenbach to take part in an extraordinary event. This was organized by the city's youth representatives and offered young people the opportunity to network with local clubs and organizations. Eleven different groups presented themselves and showed the students a wide range of leisure and participation activities.

The participating schools included the Markus Gottwalt School, the special education support center, the business school and the Eschenbach high school. The students went through a total of eleven stations that were spread across the entire school grounds. The stations ranged from tennis and football to boy scouts, fire brigade, water rescue service and small animal breeding club to aikido and judo.

Renewal of a popular format

The event was held again for the first time after a break of several years and this year took place before the Whitsun holidays instead of before the summer holidays as usual. There was great joy about the return of the format; Both the organizers, Jürgen Schäffler and Roland Götz, and the participating clubs expressed themselves very positively. MGS Rector Wolfgang Bodensteiner praised the successful organization and emphasized the importance of such events for the students.
