Clear the stage for 7 Stories: drama and comedy at the Roxy Theater!
Owen Sound Little Theater (OSLT) is about to begin its 64th season at the Roxy Theater, wrapping up last season with several exciting performances. This season, theater lovers can look forward to a total of four main productions covering different genres, as well as a variety of additional events.
The final show of the current season, premiering on June 12, 2024, is “7 Stories,” directed by Gerrard Morrison. This Canadian, visually stunning piece is a dark comedy about a man who contemplates jumping from a seven-story building. As he stands on the edge of the building, he is repeatedly interrupted by the quirky residents of the seventh floor, trapped in their own stories. Performance dates are scheduled for June 12-15 and June 18-21 at the Roxy Theater. Tickets are already available online or by phone.
Season 2024/25 is announced
The coming season offers a varied program that includes many highlights.
- The Prom – Ein Musical, das die Geschichte eines Highschool-Schülers erzählt, der von seinem Abschlussball ausgeschlossen ist. Die Aufführungen finden vom 14. bis 16., 21. bis 24. und 27. bis 30. November statt und stehen unter der Regie von Corry Lapointe.

In addition, the Roxy Presents Series, supported by the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will feature a diverse program including comedies, films, musical events and more. Highlights include CBC’s Laugh Out Loud Comedy Festival and a variety of other events in the coming months.
Additional programs and offers
There will also be a Roxy Young Company program offering camps and theater classes for young performers. The Senior Camp production of “Legally Blonde JR” will take place in August 2025 and classes will conclude with a performance of “Alice In Wonderland JR” in Spring 2025. The Roxy Star Company for adults with complex needs is entering its third season.
