Köngen celebrates championship title: dramatic season finale in the district league!

The last matchday in the district league was played on June 9, 2025, which featured exciting encounters and dramatic twists. In the various games, spectators were able to witness some outstanding performances and decisive moments that will shape the season.

In the game between Salach and Cologne there was a clear 6-0 win for Salach. Aykut Durna opened the scoring in the 20th minute, followed by Lukas Burkhardtsmaier, who increased the score with a penalty kick in the 48th minute. Umut Sat celebrated a strong comeback with two goals in the 54th and 65th minutes. Further goals from Joel Oelkuch (75th, 82nd minute) and Stefan Klein (80th minute) secured the big win. With this result, Salach finished the season in a respectable sixth place.

Thrilling duels and close results

Another exciting match took place between Jesingen and Heiningen, in which Heiningen won 4:3. Timo Mader gave Jesingen an early lead, but Alperen Karaceylan ensured Heiningen's comeback by scoring two goals in the 4th and 26th minutes. Safa Gürbüz increased the score to 3-1 before Argjend Shalaj Jesingen brought it back to 2-3. Heiningen secured another goal with a penalty in the 70th minute, while Shalaj scored the third goal for Jesingen in stoppage time (90th + 3 minutes).

In another duel, Deizisau and Kirchheim played out a 1-1 draw. Alassane Braun gave Deizisau the lead in the 44th minute, but Niklas Muschalla was able to equalize for Kirchheim in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, Deizisau says goodbye to the district league with this draw.

Championship and relegation

A remarkable victory was celebrated by Donzdorf, who won against Frickenhausen 4-1, leaving Donzdorf in mid-table. Frickenhausen, on the other hand, secured fifth place. The game was marked by goals from Gedig, Kögel, Sührck and Gaugel, in addition to a goal from Frickenhausen, which was scored by Stehling.

In the duel between Ebersbach and Geislingen, Ebersbach won 1-0, with Petar Vidovic scoring the only goal in the 52nd minute. Geislingen was unable to convert a penalty kick in the 14th minute and also had to send a player off early in the 86th minute for yellow-red.

An impressive end to the season was celebrated by Catania, who clearly defeated Oberboihingen 4-1. Trumino was the star of the game, scoring three goals; Potenza increased to 4:1 after an early goal from Harer for Oberboihingen.

Last but not least, TSV Köngen secured the championship title and thus direct promotion with a 2-1 win over Berkheim. After an early deficit by Nils Müller in the 7th minute, Michael Rüttinger (19th minute) and Emilio Intemperante (66th minute) turned the game around.
