Burglary in Esslingen school container: windows smashed, doors broken!

On the night of Friday, June 14th, to Sunday, June 16th, 2025, there was a break-in at a school in Esslingen, in which unknown perpetrators violently broke into a school container. This container, which is being used as a makeshift classroom, was significantly damaged. According to police reports filed by the Esslinger newspaper were published, a teacher discovered the damage on Monday evening around 8:30 p.m.

When examining the school container, the teacher discovered that a total of three windows and six doors were damaged. The windows were broken and the burglars had forced the doors open. It is still unclear whether valuables were stolen from the classrooms. The material damage could not yet be accurately assessed.

Police investigations

The police immediately started an investigation. In this context, it is also examined whether there is a connection to another break-in that took place in the same period of time. In this case, the perpetrators also entered the building through a window and searched cupboards and drawers for valuables, such as the ones on site Stuttgart News reported.

The investigation is focused on finding out more about the background to the break-in and identifying possible witnesses. It remains to be seen whether the collection of traces and the evaluation of surveillance cameras can lead to clues to the perpetrators.
