Italian evening delights in Kohlberg-Röthenbach with pasta and music!
Last Saturday evening, October 1st, 2025, the area next to the settlers' tool house in Kohlberg-Röthenbach was transformed into an atmospheric Italian piazza. The Kohlberg-Röthenbach settler community organized an Italian evening that attracted numerous guests. The smell of freshly baked pizza, tomatoes and basil reached your nose at the entrance and invited you to linger.
The focus of the evening was not only the culinary delicacies, but also the musical entertainment. DJ Surprise, aka Stefan Gebhardt, created the right atmosphere with popular Italian classics such as “Volare” and “O sole mio”. Surrounded by fairy lights and festive decorations, participants enjoyed the atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian evening.
Diverse offer
The buffet had an extensive selection of food, including fresh bread, pasta salads and pickled vegetables. The pizzas were particularly praised and were very well received by the guests. The homemade desserts, such as tiramisu pralines, panna cotta and cantuccini, also received high praise. At the bar, visitors could choose from a selection of Aperol, Limoncello and non-alcoholic cocktails.
The chairwoman of the settlers' community, Alexandra Kurz, was pleased with the successful evening and emphasized the importance of such events for cohesion within the community. A team of board members, members and friends invested many weeks in planning and decoration to make the evening a special experience.
Strengthen community life
The Kohlberg-Röthenbach settlers' community is an active association dedicated to beautifying the community and strengthening community life. In addition to the Italian evening, the association organizes numerous other festivals and activities for young and old, including action days and other events. Members benefit from a varied program as well as equipment rental for home and garden.
