Köngener Pumptrack: Exciting races for young and old on October 12th!
On October 12, 2025 it will be “Pump & Play” again at the Köngen pump track. The Unterensingen Ski Club invites you to an exciting “everyman race” that starts at 10 a.m. Here, participants aged 5 to 99 can demonstrate their skills and speed on various vehicles.
The event is aimed at both children and families. A total of 13 classes are offered: from balance bikes to BMX, mountain bikes, dirt bikes, longboards and scooters. Each participant has the opportunity to set their best time in two runs with a flying start. The five fastest starters in each class qualify for the grand finale.
Supporting program and registration
In addition to the exciting races, the event offers a diverse supporting program. Visitors can have fun with bouldering, volleyball and various outdoor games organized by the Trafo youth center. Your physical well-being is also taken care of. A variety of food and drinks are available that participants can enjoy after their sporting achievements.
After the competitions, the after-race party will take place from 5 p.m. Here, visitors can end the day with music, cool drinks and grilled food and exchange ideas about the challenges they have experienced. Last year there was a successful premiere with 120 participants, making the event a real highlight in the local calendar.
Those interested can register online at www.sc-unterensingen.de/pumptrack-race. Late registrations are also possible up to an hour before the start of the race.
The event emphasizes the promotion of speed, balance, driving technique and skill in a sporting atmosphere. The pump track race is more than just a competition - it is a celebration for everyone who loves outdoor sports and enjoys physical activity. So, head to the pump track when it’s time to “Pump & Play”! Further information can be found on the website of Esslinger newspaper and Transformer Köngen.
